Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual techniques while maintaining safety standards
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation processes
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Uphold OSHA compliance and 5S methodology for workplace organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/forklift operation experience (certification preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Valid forklift certification and clean driving record
- Ability to work in fast-paced, temperature-controlled environments
- Basic math and communication skills
