Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/unload high-volume shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation
- Operate warehouse equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Optimize space utilization in 50,000+ sq ft climate-controlled facility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless dock operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Implement lean principles to maximize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in warehouse operations or logistics
- OSHA-certified forklift operation mandatory
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently with proper technique
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
