Responsibilities
- Oversee 50+ team members in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to boost efficiency by 20%+
- Enforce OSHA compliance and zero-accident safety protocols
- Manage inventory accuracy and cycle counts with <0.5% variance
- Train and develop warehouse staff through structured leadership programs
- Optimize warehouse layout and material handling systems
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent process improvement training
- Proven ability to manage 20+ staff in high-volume environments
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Experience with automated conveyor and sorting systems
