Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes
- Manage team of 15+ warehouse staff through performance coaching and development
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and compliance standards
- Optimize inventory control systems and cycle counting procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies
- Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, and sales departments for seamless operations
- Generate performance reports and KPI analysis for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and advanced material handling equipment experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs and improving efficiency
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
