Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of high-value inventory
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff through performance management and development
- Implement lean principles to improve productivity and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments for seamless logistics
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of optimizing warehouse operations and reducing costs
- OSHA Forklift Certification and advanced inventory management skills
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting KPIs and metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
