Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, certificates of origin)
- Track shipments via TMS and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and liaise with carriers/customs authorities
- Optimize routes to minimize costs and transit times
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export/import procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with hazardous materials handling regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Certifications (CSCP, CTL) a plus
