Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and freight modes
- Manage documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms) with 100% accuracy
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with customs brokers, warehouses, and clients to ensure seamless deliveries
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazmat regulations
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Descartes, MercuryGate) and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or related field
