Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for diverse cargo types
- Manage documentation compliance (Bills of Lading, customs forms)
- Optimize freight routes using TMS software to minimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse teams
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements
- Maintain accurate inventory of shipping supplies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficient in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Descartes)
- Certified Customs Broker or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in high-pressure scenarios
