Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier management
- Optimize freight routing to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking systems and shipment records
- Resolve logistical discrepancies and provide real-time shipment status updates
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and international teams for seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FDA, and international shipping regulations
- Implement continuous improvement strategies for shipping efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certification a plus
