Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of inventory movement, freight costs, and delivery schedules.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and propose solutions for cost reduction and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Assist in the resolution of shipping delays and logistics bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of freight terminology, shipping methods (LTL, FTL, air), and DOT regulations.
- Proficiency in transportation management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication abilities.
