Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including order processing, carrier selection, and documentation management
- Track and monitor shipments in real-time using logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle TMS)
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and exceptions through proactive communication with carriers and clients
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and container utilization
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations (DOT, FMC) and Incoterms
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
