Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage inventory control and warehouse documentation compliance
- Optimize freight routing to minimize costs and transit times
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries proactively
- Collaborate with sales and production teams on delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate shipping records and compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements for logistics efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficient with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMC regulations and Incoterms
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
