Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments using TMS and ERP systems
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Monitor transit times and resolve shipment delays proactively
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and clients to ensure timely deliveries
- Track inventory levels and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams on freight cost negotiations
- Generate shipment reports and maintain accurate logistics records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination or logistics experience
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Familiarity with INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- High school diploma; Supply Chain certification preferred
