Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers
- Generate and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory staging
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and delivery times
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Build strong relationships with carriers and clients
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics role
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle TMS)
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost analysis
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
