Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier contracts to reduce costs
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and finance teams for seamless operations
- Maintain accurate documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Analyze KPIs to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with multi-modal experience
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Descartes, MercuryGate) and MS Office
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation capabilities
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS and hazardous materials regulations
