Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and carrier requirements
- Manage inventory levels and track shipments through advanced logistics software
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to optimize loading schedules and route planning
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement process improvements for cost reduction
- Maintain accurate documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and shipping manifests
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and recommend efficiency enhancements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle TMS, or comparable systems)
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations (Incoterms, customs procedures)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Spanish language proficiency highly desirable for cross-border operations
