Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier negotiations
- Manage inventory control systems to track product movement and optimize warehouse space
- Collaborate with sales, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide real-time tracking updates to clients
- Implement sustainable shipping practices to reduce environmental impact
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LTL/FTL shipping, and customs procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- OSHA Hazmat certification a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
