Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping schedules using TMS software
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading and unloading processes
- Negotiate rates with carriers and maintain vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Generate shipping reports and maintain shipment databases
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency with TMS systems (e.g., Descartes, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent; supply chain degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
