Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Monitor freight status and communicate delays or issues to internal stakeholders and clients immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and inventory movements in the company ERP system.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and negotiate rates with third-party logistics providers.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure proper loading and handling of cargo.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite (Excel required).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
