Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipment processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Optimize inventory management through real-time tracking and warehouse reconciliation
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, warehouse) to ensure on-time deliveries
- Implement cost-effective shipping strategies using TMS software and analytics
- Resolve transportation discrepancies through proactive carrier communication
- Maintain compliance with DOT/FAA regulations and international trade laws
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination within supply chain
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in logistics (CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in high-volume operations
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and customs brokerage processes
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (required for warehouse visits)
