Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end ocean freight shipments from documentation to customs clearance
- Optimize container loading plans and warehouse inventory systems
- Manage vendor relationships with carriers, customs brokers, and port authorities
- Generate and maintain shipping manifests, bills of lading, and compliance documents
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with sales team on freight quotes and client service agreements
- Conduct weekly logistics performance reporting and cost analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in international shipping coordination or logistics
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Descartes, Blue Yonder) and ERP systems
- Certified Customs Broker or FMC License preferred
- Deep knowledge of Incoterms, HTS codes, and CBP regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex shipping scenarios
- Strong attention to detail with documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage high-pressure deadlines in fast-paced environment
