Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities including order processing, carrier selection, and documentation preparation
- Track shipments and proactively address delays to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies using WMS systems
- Build and maintain relationships with freight carriers and vendors
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and customs documentation
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with WMS systems and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, customs)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
