Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, manifests) and maintain accurate shipment records
- Communicate with carriers, clients, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues
- Optimize routing and freight costs while maintaining service quality standards
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations (DOT, IATA, customs)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
