Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments using TMS software and ERP systems
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and transit times
- Manage documentation compliance including customs forms, bills of lading, and commercial invoices
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory allocation
- Maintain shipment databases and generate performance reports
- Build relationships with freight forwarders and carrier partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Descartes)
- FDA/HAZMAT certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
