Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping operations including order processing, documentation, and carrier scheduling
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and industry standards
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate shipping contracts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
- Proficiency in WMS and TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, FedEx/UPS requirements)
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
