Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including order processing, documentation, and carrier scheduling
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and delays through carrier negotiations and alternative routing
- Maintain accurate shipping records and compliance with international/domestic regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Optimize shipping costs through carrier rate analysis and process improvements
- Prepare customs documentation and ensure adherence to trade compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics coordination, or warehouse operations
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and carrier networks
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Forklift certification a plus
