Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities including freight booking, carrier selection, and route optimization
- Prepare and manage all shipping documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms)
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays or discrepancies
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Implement cost-saving measures in shipping processes and carrier negotiations
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid driver's license with clean record (required for occasional site visits)
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- Spanish language skills highly valued for bilingual customer interactions
