Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, ground, and sea freight
- Manage documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide status updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and escalate issues to management
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams
- Optimize routes to reduce costs and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Forklift certification preferred
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field
