Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, rail, and ground carriers
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse documentation systems
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with customs brokers for international compliance
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain compliance with DOT and hazardous material regulations
- Act as primary liaison between clients and transportation partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and customs procedures
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- OSHA Hazmat certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
