Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and modes
- Manage inventory control systems to optimize warehouse space and product flow
- Prepare and process customs documentation for international shipments
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and exceptions through proactive communication
- Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Track and analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Certified Customs Broker or equivalent international trade certification a plus
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping data and KPIs
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities under time-sensitive conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends for urgent shipments
- Valid driver's license with clean record
