Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL)
- Manage documentation: prepare bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Optimize shipping routes and schedules to minimize transit times and costs
- Track and trace shipments in real-time, providing proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and carrier issues with minimal disruption
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for accurate inventory allocation and packing
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with hazardous materials and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP) and customs procedures
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (CLTD, CSCP, or CPL) a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage complex documentation
- Proven problem-solving skills in carrier negotiations and dispute resolution
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
