Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance records
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive status updates
- Resolve transportation disruptions and implement contingency plans
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Blue Yonder, Oracle) and WMS systems
- Strong knowledge of LTL, FTL, and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Omaha's transportation infrastructure preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
