Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Track and optimize freight shipments using TMS platforms to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage relationships with carriers, customs brokers, and international partners
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions proactively
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient cargo loading/unloading
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Descartes, Blue Yonder) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and international shipping protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Fluency in English and Spanish (required for Miami market)
- Certification in Logistics (CSCP, CLTD) or related field preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities
