Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, ocean, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation compliance (Bills of Lading, customs forms, CMRs)
- Track cargo in real-time using TMS platforms and provide client updates
- Resolve logistics disruptions through carrier negotiations and contingency planning
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate shipment databases and generate performance reports
- Support import/export regulatory adherence and tariff calculations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping/logistics coordination role
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Descartes, Blue Yonder)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization experience
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and clean driving record
- Spanish/French language skills preferred for Gulf Coast trade
- CPIM or CSCP certification a plus
