Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Monitor shipment status and track packages to ensure compliance with delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory levels related to outbound logistics and assist in cycle counts.
- Analyze shipping costs and recommend strategies to reduce logistics expenses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
