Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules and carrier logistics to meet delivery deadlines
- Manage inventory tracking and documentation for inbound/outbound shipments
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate proactively with stakeholders
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiations and route planning
- Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements
- Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to align shipping priorities
- Utilize TMS/WMS systems to track shipments and generate reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of FOB/Incoterms and shipping documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field required
