Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including documentation preparation and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates to minimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory allocation
- Maintain shipping databases and generate performance reports
- Build relationships with carriers and negotiate service level agreements
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with LTL/FTL experience
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and shipment tracking tools
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments
- Excellent written/verbal communication and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
