Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Optimize freight routes to minimize transit times and costs
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and clients for real-time tracking
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
- Analyze KPIs to improve shipping efficiency metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (Descartes, MercuryGate preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance processes
- Excel expertise with data visualization skills
- Problem-solving aptitude for complex logistics scenarios
- OSHA/Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
