Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including order processing, carrier selection, and documentation
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays or discrepancies
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates to reduce transportation costs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms)
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and finance teams to ensure order fulfillment accuracy
- Implement continuous improvements in shipping processes and compliance standards
- Manage relationships with freight carriers and 3PL partners
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, DOT regulations, and customs documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and clean driving record
