Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests
- Track shipments using logistics software and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and clients to maintain transparency in logistics operations
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs while meeting delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to align shipping schedules with client demands
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ShipStation)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and freight documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to resolve shipping disruptions
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
