Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation, carrier selection, and freight scheduling
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs while ensuring timely deliveries
- Resolve customs clearance issues and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to prioritize order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate shipping records and performance metrics
- Identify process improvement opportunities in logistics workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations (FMC, IATA)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with carriers/customers
- Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) or equivalent preferred
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented with exceptional documentation accuracy
