Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, sea, ground)
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, certificates of origin)
- Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize transit costs and delays
- Track shipments proactively and resolve transportation disruptions
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams
- Maintain shipment databases and generate performance reports
- Build carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Descartes)
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
- Valid Oregon driver's license preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
