Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments via air, sea, and ground freight
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance certificates
- Track cargo movement and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
- Optimize routing and carrier negotiations to reduce costs and transit times
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading and unloading
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and proactively address delays
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with Portland port operations and local carriers
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field
