Join our award-winning logistics team as a Shipping Coordinator and become the backbone of our supply chain operations! We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage end-to-end shipping processes for our Sacramento distribution center. You'll coordinate with carriers, warehouse teams, and clients to ensure seamless delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily outbound shipments across multiple carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.)
- Manage documentation: BOLs, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and provide proactive updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and optimize routing for cost efficiency
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading and accurate inventory
- Build relationships with 3PL partners and negotiate carrier rates
- Implement process improvements to reduce transit times and errors
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Oracle TMS)
- OSHA Hazmat certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations (FCL/LCL)
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field
