Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation preparation and customs clearance
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse operations to ensure product availability
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Negotiate rates with carriers and select optimal shipping methods
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to align shipping schedules
- Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations
- Generate shipment reports and analyze logistics performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
