Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments using TMS platforms like Oracle Transportation Management
- Manage inventory control and warehouse documentation systems
- Resolve customs clearance issues and ensure compliance with DOT/FMC regulations
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and track shipments in real-time
- Prepare Bill of Lading and commercial invoices with 100% accuracy
- Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery rates and cost-per-mile metrics
- Train staff on shipping protocols and safety procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Manhattan, or equivalent)
- FMC certification or demonstrated customs clearance knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with experience optimizing shipping routes
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Exceptional written/verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- Associates degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
