Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and freight modes
- Prepare and process customs documentation, bills of lading, and commercial invoices
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Negotiate rates with vendors and manage freight budget allocations
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure order fulfillment accuracy
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders
- APICS or CSCMP certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
