Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including order processing, documentation, and carrier selection
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with domestic/international carriers
- Manage customs documentation for cross-border shipments and ensure regulatory compliance
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve delivery discrepancies proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory staging and loading
- Generate shipping reports and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement
- Maintain digital records in logistics software (WMS/TMS) and update shipment status
- Build strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams
- High school diploma required; supply chain certification preferred
- Forklift certification and basic warehouse equipment operation experience
