Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory and packaging
- Negotiate rates with freight carriers and maintain vendor relationships
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, etc.)
- Manage customer communications regarding shipment status and exceptions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Associates)
- Certified Customs Broker or ISTA packaging certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
