Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including order processing, carrier selection, and documentation preparation
- Monitor shipment status proactively and resolve transit delays with innovative solutions
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier contracts to maximize cost-efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile shipping discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and loading schedules
- Implement and maintain compliance with international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, etc.)
- Analyze shipping metrics and recommend process improvements for continuous optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping data and KPIs
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with carriers and clients
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
